The property is located in Walton County, the third fastest-growing county in   Florida. Defuniak Springs is the county seat of Walton County. Panther Creek and the associated are located on the eastern portion of the property. The creek runs through the eastern portion of the property for about one mile. As such much of the wetlands percentages are effectively not wetlands but value-generating ponds and creeks.
